How Easy Is It To Switch To Our Web Solution

Once you make the decision to switch to a JACKAVA Design web site, it’s pretty easy!  Our staff will work with you from beginning to end.  From porting your content to a new platform, to wireframe and UI/UX design of the new look and functionality, our team will over communicate and walk you through each step, gaining your approval at every turn in a very agile and open development process.  From beginning to end the process moves at a rapid pace and will get you up and running in no time or by a stated deadline.


Is There A Contract I Have To Sign

All of our Funeral Home Partners will sign a 36 month contract. This includes all design work, ongoing customer service and hosting fees for your site.


What Do You Transfer From My Existing Site

We will migrate all text, images, documents and videos from your current website and will incorporate them into the new website where applicable.  Quite often written content requires a refresh just as much as your content does.  If necessary, a document can be created for all existing copy to be reviewed and edited before placing it in the new design.   Additionally, you may choose from our vault of stock and royalty photographs or take us up on our copywriting suggestions, especially if performing SEO, Pay-Per-Click, Social Media Advertising or any of our other digital marketing services.


Do I have To Sell Flowers On My Website

The short answer is “no,” but the better answer is “you should”.

This feature is easy to turn off, however, selling flowers on your site is an added service to your families.  Additionally, it costs you nothing and you will receive a commission from all net sales.   


Do You Handle The Transactions, Processing Of Credit Cards, …

All flower and gift sales will be handled through the website. Commissions from these sales will be paid monthly.

Both Premium and Ultimate packages will also allow you to take payments for your funeral services.  These payments will go directly to your bank account. 


Are Your Websites Responsive For Mobile and Tablet Users

Yes! Our websites will automatically adjust to computers, iPads and mobile phones.  Your website will look great and be easy to use, no matter the device.


Is There An Upfront Setup Fee

There is no upfront cost to create a new website.  All of our Funeral Home Partners will sign a 36 month contract and pay a monthly fee for our services.


CAN I SELL OTHER PRODUCTS ON THE WEBSITE?

We will work with you to sell any additional products and gifts you would like – such as flowers, blankets, and gift baskets.  We are unable to allow sales of funeral service items such as caskets, urns, etc.


Is it ADA compliant?

Yes. All designs pass WGCA AA (Normal Size Text, Large Size Text, and User Input & Graphical) along with Background Color, Foreground Color, and Contrast Ratio.


How do I receive commissions on floral orders?

Our Funeral Home Partners will receive a commission on all flowers and gifts that are sold through their websites.  Commission checks are sent out quarterly, and you can keep track of your commission totals via your online portal and App.


What florists can I work with?

We have relationships with florists in all markets.  With Our Ultimate Package, you can work with one of our local florists and/or any florist of your choosing.
